Description: Zoning is the legislative process of categorising properties into relative zones (e.g. residential, industrial, commercial, education, etc.). It forms part of the Land Use Management System, which applies to all erven within the boundary of the municipality over which a scheme has been put in place. The zone determines what the relative permitted land uses are/ should be.
