Description: • Rising Mains are a system of sealed pipes that convey sewage via pumps at pump stations that lifts and pushes the sewage along.• Gravity Main is a type of main line that is unpressurized and relies on gravity to move the sewage through the main.• Reticulation Mains convey sewer from customers to the trunk mains.• Trunk Mains are the primary sewer collection lines and are generally 300mm in diameter or greater. They move sewerage to the sewerage treatment plant.
